API Developer - Node.js

We are seeking a talented and experienced API Developer with a strong background in Node.js to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in fullstack development, a passion for building high-quality software, and a keen interest in staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Node.js and related technologies. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. - Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. - Troubleshoot and debug applications. - Implement security and data protection measures. - Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. - Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices. Required Skills and Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - 3-5 years of experience in API development, with a strong focus on Node.js. - Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes. - Experience and comfort with DevOps particularly focused on AWS and Github. - Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS (Tailwind), JavaScript, and frameworks/libraries like React.js and Vue.js. - Experience with back-end or full-stack frameworks such as Express.js or Nest.js. - Experience with authentication, authorization, Role-based Access Control, and middlewares in Node.js APIs using Passport.js and inbuilt Express functionality. - Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web services. - Familiarity with both relational and non-relational database technologies such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL. - Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git. - String familiarity and comfort with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent teamwork and communication skills in English and Hindi. Good-to-have Skills : - Experience with TypeScript. - Knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka. - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools. - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure. - Communication skills in Kannada, Tamil, or Telugu.
