Position Overview : Talent Worx is seeking an experienced and highly skilled SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) Senior Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of designing, developing, and implementing complex integration solutions using the SAP Cloud Platform Integration suite. You will leverage your deep technical expertise to ensure seamless and robust connectivity between various SAP applications, third-party systems, and other enterprise applications, thereby optimizing our clients' business processes and data flow. As a Senior Consultant, you will serve as a subject matter expert, collaborating directly with clients to gather and analyze their integration requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and architect scalable and secure integration solutions. You will play a key role in the successful delivery of integration projects, mentor junior team members, and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our integration methodologies and consulting best practices. Key Responsibilities : Integration Solution Design and Development : - Lead the design, development, and implementation of sophisticated integration scenarios and flows using the SAP CPI platform. - Utilize various SAP CPI adapters (e.g., SOAP, REST, OData, SFTP, JDBC, IDoc, RFC) to connect disparate systems. - Apply expertise in message mapping (including graphical mapping, XSLT, and Groovy scripts), routing, and message transformation techniques within CPI. - Develop and configure iFlows, value mappings, number ranges, and other CPI artifacts. Requirements Analysis and Technical Documentation : - Analyze complex client integration requirements, translating business needs into detailed technical specifications and integration design documents. - Create comprehensive documentation for integration solutions, including design specifications, mapping documents, test plans, and operational guides. - Participate in workshops and meetings with clients and stakeholders to clarify requirements and present technical solutions. System Integration and Collaboration : - Collaborate closely with functional and technical teams (SAP and non-SAP) to ensure seamless end-to-end integration of business processes. - Work with security teams to implement secure integration patterns and protocols (e.g., OAuth, SAML, SSL/TLS). - Coordinate with system administrators for certificate management, user provisioning, and other technical prerequisites for integrations. Testing, Troubleshooting, and Support : - Design and execute comprehensive integration test plans, including unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and supporting user acceptance testing (UAT). - Proactively monitor integration flows and troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner. - Implement error handling and logging mechanisms within iFlows to facilitate monitoring and issue resolution. - Provide expert-level support and guidance to clients and internal teams on deployed SAP CPI solutions. Mentoring and Best Practices : - Mentor and provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to junior consultants on SAP CPI development, integration methodologies, and project best practices. - Contribute to the development and refinement of internal SAP CPI development standards, guidelines, and best practices. - Share knowledge and insights with the wider consulting team to foster continuous learning and improvement. Continuous Learning and Innovation : - Stay abreast of the latest features, updates, and advancements in SAP CPI and the broader SAP Integration Suite. - Research and evaluate new integration technologies, patterns, and tools to enhance our service offerings. - Apply knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in enterprise integration. Required Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. - A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions, with a strong focus on SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI). - Comprehensive and demonstrable understanding of various integration patterns (e.g., synchronous, asynchronous, publish-subscribe) and protocols (e.g., HTTP/S, SFTP, FTPS, AS2, SOAP, REST, OData). - Proven expertise in data transformation techniques, including message mapping (graphical), XSLT, and scripting languages (e.g., Groovy Script) within the SAP CPI environment. - Experience with integrating SAP ERP (ECC) and/or SAP S/4HANA systems with other applications using SAP CPI is highly desirable. - Solid understanding of security concepts related to cloud integrations (e.g., authentication, authorization, encryption). - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve complex technical issues. - Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients and technical teams. - Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
