Systems Requirements Engineer

Systems Engineer Permanent £70k - £75k Preston (4 days p/week on site) We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Systems Engineer to join our Front-End Team, supporting the Eurofighter programme. In this role, you will serve as a key technical point of contact, gathering and analysing customer requirements to drive design solutions for Avionics Systems. Key Responsibilities: Review and analyse customer requirements to identify system constraints and produce a coherent design concept. Collaborate with Avionics Systems Design Teams to align views and create an Avionics Systems Feasibility Analysis Report (ASFAR). Conduct safety scoping exercises for new and emerging requirements, providing assessments and recommendations. Work closely with Cockpit Group Human Machine Interface engineers to capture additional requirements and refine design solutions. Coordinate reviews with internal and external teams, ensuring the timely delivery of documentation and task allocation. Provide detailed analysis of Customer Statement of Requirements (SOR) and Eurofighter System Requirements Documentation (SRD). Produce the Avionics Design Recommendation by consolidating stakeholder inputs. Qualifications and Skills: Strong systems engineering background within the Aerospace or Defense sectors. Proven expertise in requirements capture, management, and their impact on platforms and equipment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in stakeholder management and developing formal project documentation. Familiarity with safety assessments and hazard analysis for design changes. ADZN1_UKTJ
