Were on the lookout for a Shift Engineer to join our fast-paced manufacturing site in Ilkeston . Working on a 4 on 4 off rotating shift pattern (days and nights) , youll be the go-to engineer on shift diagnosing, fixing, and improving a wide range of plant, machinery, and site services. From breakdowns and PPM to continuous improvement and development projects, no two days are the same What Youll Do: Carry out both mechanical and electrical maintenance (PPM & RM) Support production with line changes and breakdown recovery Tackle faults head-on and keep equipment running smoothly Work safely, effectively, and independently across the site Be part of site projects and development initiatives What Were Looking For: 3 years in a similar maintenance role Multi-skilled (mechanical/electrical) trade qualified Strong problem-solving and communication skills Flexible, team-focused and calm under pressure Confident working solo and taking the lead on shift This is a brilliant opportunity to join a supportive, forward-thinking team where your ideas, energy, and technical know-how will be truly valued.
