Senior IT Engineer (Networks)

We are delighted to be working with this instantly recognisable business in the Aberdeen area as they look to secure a senior IT Engineer! In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the entire IT Infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of all IT systems and networks. Responsibilities: Manage and maintain Cisco firewalls, switches, and telephony. Monitor any necessary modifications to the network settings. Enhance the present environment's resilience by taking part in the development and deployment of new IT solutions. To determine appropriate outage windows, schedule and oversee renovations in coordination with other departments. Keep an eye on and resolve network (LAN/WAN) performance problems. Record long-term modifications and issue tickets. Offer practical assistance for any IT-related problems. If you have experience in a similar role, with particular knowledge of Cisco technologies then we would be keen to hear from you!
