Grid Manager

Summary A scale up renewable energy IPP are seeking a Construction Grid Manager for their growing construction team. Our client have an impressive pipeline of Solar PV and BESS projects entering construction in the next 12 months (10MW - 100MW). Their established in house construction team require a Grid Manager with experience on the construction side of renewable energy projects, to assist with the design and execution of their projects. Responsibilities Design, execution and planning application support of projects Guarantee DNO/IDNO compliance with regulations and best practice Internal stakeholder collaboration Guarantee project stability, efficiency and reliability Guarentee project budgets and deadlines are met Assist wider team with grid applications Create and streamline grid models Ensure system compliance and reliability (manage load flow, short circuit and stability) Design and analyse MV/HV systems Conduct assessments of grid performance Requirements Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related field. Knowledge of grid code Substation engineering experience Track record in grid engineering Experience in integration of renewable energy projects to the grid Experience in DNO/IDNO liaison Eligibility to work in the UK
