Job Description
STAND 8 provides end to end IT solutions to enterprise partners across the United States with offices in Los Angeles, New York, New Jersey, Atlanta and more, including internationally in Mexico, India and Japan. We are looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Help Desk Support Specialist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our end user community, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, offering remote support, and ensuring that customers receive timely and efficient assistance. You should have experience in technical help desk support, including password resets, Active Directory issues, and the ability to remote into PCs to troubleshoot problems. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and problem-solver, with a proactive approach to resolving technical issues. Responsibilities Receive service requests via telephone, email, or chat. Apply diagnostic techniques to identify issues, investigate causes, and recommend solutions for common failures. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the initial call when possible. Utilize internal knowledge bases, personal experience, and team resources to resolve issues. Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate support groups. Document all issues and resolutions in the Help Desk database. Follow up on open issues with escalation groups and provide updates to customers. Perform quality assurance checks on resolved tickets to ensure customer satisfaction. Qualifications Experience handling onboarding and offboarding requests. Proficient with password resets and access requests. Strong knowledge and experience with Jira and Office 365. Ability to troubleshoot Active Directory issues and other technical problems. Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly explain solutions to customers. Experience with remote troubleshooting and support.
