Desired experience with VPC, Event Bridge, IAM, S3, AWS Lambda, Kinesis, AWS EKS, AWS ECS. Ability to troubleshoot and prevent issues. Capability to follow runbooks and resolve common AWS service issues under time pressure. CloudWatch Terraform Gitlab CI/CD Pipelines Nice to Have: AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect. Experience with basic scripting (Python, bash) to automate repetitive tasks. Exposure to other AWS Services (SNS, SQS, Route53). Knowledge of ITIL process and change-management frameworks. Kafka knowledge. Exposure to Grafana monitoring, and creating dashboards and alerts. Middleware Technologies knowledge is a plus: TIBCO EMS, tomcat/tcserver, IBM MQ. Activities to Perform: AWS Service Management: Manage and support AWS services including VPC, Event Bridge, IAM, S3, AWS Lambda, Kinesis, AWS EKS, AWS ECS. Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve AWS service issues following runbooks. Prevent recurring issues through proactive monitoring and maintenance. Automation: Utilize scripting (Python, bash) to automate repetitive tasks. Monitoring and Reporting: Use CloudWatch and Grafana for monitoring AWS services and creating dashboards and alerts. Collaboration: Work with teams using Terraform and Gitlab CI/CD Pipelines to ensure smooth deployment processes. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with AWS services and best practices. Implement ITIL process and change-management frameworks.
