Data Engineer Opportunities at Tata Consultancy Services: Tata Consultancy Services is hiring Data Engineer to build robust data pipeline and cloud native solutions for leading Banking, financial services clients. Ideal candidate must have experience on DataStage or Informatica and Snowflake. Required Skills : Technical: In-depth knowledge with at least 4-6 years of proven engineering experience working in data warehouse and data pipeline using ETL and cloud tools Extensive knowledge of Data pipelines & Data warehousing. Able to design and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and data integration processes Optimize and troubleshooting issues in data warehouses or data lakes Integrate data from multiple sources such as SQL server, DB2, flat files, APIs and cloud platform Should be able to schedule and monitor jobs using built-in schedulers or external tools like Control-M Hands-on experience in design, developing and testing ETL workflows using DataStage or Informatica to extract data from sources into enterprise data warehouses Knowledge in SQL and analytical functions to clean, Join and aggregate data ensuring data lineage and documentation tools like DBT and Datahub Implementation of CI/CD for data pipelines using tools like GitHub Analyze existing ETL processes and recommend improvements for performance optimization Optimize ETL jobs to efficiently handle high volume data loads into Snowflake using staging, integration and Parallel processing Update and maintain comprehensive documentation for all ETL processes, configurations and changes Monitor and maintain DataStage ETL processes to ensure seamless data integration Participates in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using IBM Infosphere Information Server (IIS) products like Data Stage and Quality Stage on a Linux Grid environment. Snowflake, Control-M/Scheduling tools Working with projects and business analysts leads to development and clarifying in-depth technical requirements including logical and physical data modeling activities Non-Technical: Strong communication skills working with users across globe on Information Security best practices for privileged management Experience working in the financial services industry or other highly regulated/compliance- oriented environments is preferred Experience in working with different stakeholders Work closely with internal teams to understand requirements and provide technical expertise Good to have : Snowflake/DBT certifications Experience in Python, DBT.
