IMPACT and OPPORTUNITY Lead, coordinate, and ensure the proper operation of the metrology and testing laboratory, guaranteeing compliance with quality standards, calibration schedules, and applicable regulations. Develop measurement capabilities for new products, manage technical personnel, and support operations in line with customer requirements and international standards. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Metrology, or related field). Minimum 8 years of experience in Leading/Managing metrology laboratories in the automotive or advanced manufacturing sector. Proven experience leading technical teams and managing resources efficiently. Strong command of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) interpretation and application. Programming experience with CMM equipment (preferably PC-DMIS or similar software). Advanced handling of KEYENCE optical measuring systems. Deep knowledge of MSA studies (AIAG): GR&R, Linearity, Bias, Resolution, Stability. Practical knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 and IATF 16949 standards. SPC systems management and statistical process analysis. Intermediate English level (technical reading and basic written communication). ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Key Responsibilities Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of the laboratory, including technical and indirect personnel. Program and operate measuring equipment such as CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines) and KEYENCE vision systems. Manage planning and execution of internal and external calibrations and verifications of measuring equipment. Ensure metrological traceability and data integrity. Develop and validate new test methods and measurement systems for new products. Administer relationships and services with external laboratories. Implement and maintain ISO/IEC 17025 compliance within laboratory activities. Conduct MSA studies according to AIAG guidelines: Linearity, Repeatability and Reproducibility (GR&R), Bias, Stability, and Resolution. Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 requirements related to SPC and MSA. Train and coach technical staff in GD&T interpretation, measurement equipment usage, and statistical methodologies. Generate technical reports and analysis to support internal and customer audits. Promote continuous improvement and process optimization within the laboratory. Support internal and external audits related to quality and injection molding processes. Use Minitab or other statistical software to analyze quality data, identify trends, and drive corrective actions.
