Job Description

The Asset Security Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the protection of the organization's physical and human assets. This role involves implementing and overseeing security measures to prevent theft, vandalism, and other security threats. Responsibilities: Develop and implement asset security policies and procedures. Supervise and coordinate security personnel, both internal and external. Conduct regular security audits to identify and mitigate risks. Coordinate with local law enforcement (police, firefighters) to ensure a quick and effective response to emergencies. Manage security systems, including surveillance cameras, alarms, and access controls. Investigate security incidents and produce detailed reports. Train staff in safety practices and emergency protocols. Maintain accurate records of all security activities and incidents. Lead CTPAT certification program (the Security responsibility section) Requirements: Training in security, business administration, or a related field. Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in asset security. Knowledge of safety and security regulations. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions. Desired Skills: Attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to develop and implement effective security policies. Ability to manage crisis situations and solve problems efficiently. CTPAT implementation process knowledge
