We are looking for Rotating specialist, with previous experience in Oil and Gas, Energy projects. The Rotating Equipment Specialist will develop activities for design, selection and follow up of rotating machinery, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements. Tasks include: · Provide technical support during bidding phase · Review technical tender documentation · Prepare rotating equipment technical documentation for inquiry · Review and make technical evaluation of machinery bids received by Vendors · Support Lead in defining cost evaluation for machinery and other equipment related to Machinery department · Support Machinery Lead in defining engineering requirements and interface with other disciplines. Optimize engineering standards while ensuring minimal cost and simplification in compliance with the required performance · Prepare technical documentation for requisitions (e.g. technical supply specification, mechanical data sheets) · Support Machinery Lead in technical negotiation with vendors. Review and supervise subcontracted discipline engineering documents · Prepare technical tabulation and technical evaluation for any type of rotating equipment submitted by Vendors · After order award: follow-up engineering activities and interface assigned machinery equipment/package included in purchase orders · Review, mark-up comments and finalize all vendor drawings, interfacing with other process or technical disciplines · Attend to internal review activities and participate to inter-discipline review meetings · Participate to and assist technical disciplines to perform engineering activities (e.g. utilities and electrical load list, layouts, 3D, routings) · Provide support for expediting and testing activities · Provide support for document management and certified final documentation · Support Discipline Lead in the activity with Project functions including Procurement and Construction · Support Discipline Lead to define Machinery Equipment construction inspection plan and during preparation of equipment weights and dimensions to assist Construction activities. · Development Technology know how Knowledge of following API standards is required as minimum: - API STD 610 - API STD 611 - API STD 612 (nice to have for the 3-5 position, not mandatory) - API STD 614 (nice to have for the 3-5 position, not mandatory) - API STD 617 (nice to have for the 3-5 position, not mandatory) - API STD 618 (nice to have for the 3-5 position, not mandatory) - API STD 675 - API STD 676 - API STD 682 - API STD 692 (nice to have for the 3-5 position, not mandatory) Main valuable personal task are: proactivity, honesty, focusing on targets, excellency, attention to detail, team building and open to learn.
