Buyer and Stock Controller - Bedford, Eastern Cape.

Requirements: Strong knowledge of construction materials and equipment. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. Proficient in using procurement software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Bilingual would be advantageous. Responsibilities : Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery time. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers to secure the best deals. Coordinate with project managers to determine purchasing needs and establish timelines for delivery. Manage inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstock situations. Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier interactions, and inventory status. Resolve issues with suppliers regarding quality, pricing, and delivery discrepancies. Assist in evaluating supplier performance and making recommendations for improvement. Stay informed about industry developments and new products related to construction. Salary structure: Basic salary, Cell phone, Work vehicle, and Accommodation or accommodation allowance.
