Manufacturing Engineer

Design and implement the manufacturing process, determining the quantity and type of machinery and equipment, as well as the number of people required for product production, based on the required volumes and always meeting the capacity contracted by clients. We develop processes that ensure product quality at all stages, ergonomics, and the safety of operating personnel, minimizing the seven types of waste. Creation of a flowchart for each product. Quote standard times for each product. Calculate required manning, based on standard volumes and times. Perform line balancing according to required volumes. Calculate the quantity and type of machinery required for the production of each product, from its design to the process to be developed. Design and implement the layout according to product flow, material flow, and operator movements to meet the required production volumes, taking into account all requirements for product production. Design, request, implement, and release error-proof devices in the processes that require it. Coordinate the development and preparation of Process FMEAs. Participate in the preparation and development of the Control Plan. Preparation of the Process Sheets required for the different processes of YFAI Derramadero. Development of visual aids and/or packaging ODS. Generate process visual aids where required. Identify, evaluate, and implement improvements in different areas of the plant. Conduct studies and time analyzes to improve efficiencies. Witness and analyze the construction of prototypes. Actively participate in problem-solving meetings and comply with the agreements reached at these meetings. Attend and participate in SDT, Engineering Changes, and Launch meetings, and comply with the agreements reached at these meetings. Clarify doubts, guide, and provide support to the Production department. Manage compliance with the area's safety guidelines, as well as their implementation and monitoring of procedures and legal requirements applicable to the Manufacturing area. Ensure internal and external communication of potential risks in the area. Comply with health and safety metrics (accident rates and lost time). Comply with environmental metrics. Ensure knowledge of specific client requirements. Requirements: Minimum 1-3 years of experience as an engineering technician. Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a product engineer. Preferably, 1-3 years of experience in the automotive industry.
