Process Engineer

Manage the system, resources, personnel, and equipment of the Molding Processes department. Comply with safety standards to avoid machine downtime due to plastic injection processes, thereby meeting the department's objectives and increasing efficiency. Coordinate the transfer of new molds and robotic tooling (end-of-arm parts). Meet the process department's uptime target in the molding area. Maintain the process area's scrap level on target. Develop work strategies with the process superintendent to ensure the maintenance and improvement of process indicators in the molding area. Manage the generation and implementation of improvement ideas in the process departments. Manage compliance with the department's safety guidelines, as well as the implementation and monitoring of legal procedures applicable to the Process Department. Ensures that critical spare parts for the Process Department, as well as wear and tear spare parts, are registered in the system. All are registered in the spare parts warehouse, with a minimum and maximum quantity for each. Implements improvement ideas and energy savings for the benefit of the plant. Ensures compliance with YFIMS assigned to the department. Compliance with corporate annual PMs, such as RYG and EOAT tests on all IMMs, ensuring 100% compliance. Attends Process Department meetings to develop an action plan for any problems that arise, supported by 8D tools. Manage compliance with the area's safety guidelines, as well as the implementation and monitoring of procedures and legal requirements applicable to the process area. Ensure internal and external communication of potential risks in the area. Comply with health and safety metrics (accident rates and lost time). Comply with environmental metrics. Demonstrate intolerance for unsafe acts and conditions, promoting continuous improvement in health and safety, environmental stewardship, pollution prevention, and product and service quality and safety. This includes implementing all legal and other standards and guidelines, as well as those of the organization's Business Operating System (BOS). This includes maintaining the necessary records to demonstrate compliance and attending training relevant to their roles and responsibilities.
