Enterprise Architect

We at Tata Consultancy Services is looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure and enterprise IT architecture. This role will lead architectural design and strategy for complex enterprise environments and cloud transformations. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge, strong client-facing skills, and a proven ability to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant architectures. Key Responsibilities: Lead enterprise and solution architecture initiatives with a focus on Azure (IaaS, PaaS, AVS – VMC on Azure). Design architecture solutions that address compute, storage, networking, security, and compliance on Azure. Translate enterprise needs into technical solutions aligned with business goals, IT policies, and standards. Conduct architecture reviews to identify compliance gaps, risks, and areas of optimization. Use UML modeling and tools like Microsoft Visio for architectural documentation and design. Apply enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, etc. Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and business teams to gather requirements and deliver solution designs. Document standardized design patterns and non-standardized architecture recommendations. Validate technical designs and oversee governance of solution approval processes. Drive architectural thinking across operating systems (Windows, Linux), virtualization, storage, and networking layers. Ensure adherence to security, authentication/authorization, and risk management protocols. Provide architectural direction and support across all phases of the project lifecycle. Required Skills & Experience: 15 years of experience in IT architecture across applications, databases, and infrastructure. Expertise in Azure services including compute, storage, networking, identity, and governance. Proficient in enterprise architecture design and documentation using UML and tools like Visio. Strong understanding of server OS (Windows/Linux), virtualization, storage systems, and networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, etc.). Hands-on experience with security principles, compliance standards, and risk management. Experience with infrastructure design patterns and principles. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Proven ability to lead large-scale architecture programs in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
