Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

Objective: Provides the necessary support to facilitate the manufacture of the product, meeting the design requirements and quality standards and timely deliveries, seeking continuous improvement of manufacturing processes in accordance with the goals and / or objectives Work closely with the other groups to update and improve the standard for manufacturing as applicable. Perform leader activities as backup when required. Main Task: Responsible for the RCCA to solve problems. Escapements, Special Investigations, etc. Investigate DI/DR’s, Create Work plan/BOM/ WOA's. Create TMO's. Proficiency to elaborate visual aids and train the trainer. Give feedback to the “First Article System“. Good understanding of GD&T concepts and application. Apply and implement lean manufacturing tools on the continuous improvement projects. Lead and implement safety and ergonomics improvements. Lead high complexity tasks-projects. Requirements: • Professional degree: Mechatronic Eng , Mechanical, Aerospace or similar engineering. • 5-6 years of experience. • Experience in Manufacturing processes and ME Planning skills • English spoken and written (85%). • Time management and organization skills • Lead people and teams from different areas. • Proactive to innovate process with new technology proposals • Decision making ability and leadership skills. Knowledge: • Catia V5, SmarTeam, Solumina, • MS office. (Excel, access, Macros and Visual Basic is a plus). • Projects Management, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, ERP. • People skills, team work, communication skills, may have external negotiations. • Available to travel.
