Senior Tooling Engineer

Objective Lead improvements and projects. High complexity tasks-projects. High performance expectation. Lead people; teams from different areas. Coordinates team members to provide the necessary support to ensure manufacturing process flow in compliance with engineering requirements and quality standards and seeking continuous improvement of manufacturing processes in accordance with the goals and / or objectives of the SBU. Main Tasks Coordinates the execution of tool designs, NC Programs, material procurement, Fabrication & Inspection, as the work orders requires. Train others in critical task to achieve internal/external goals. Design and Fabrication of complex tools. Responsible for the RCCA to solve problems. Investigate DMT's/DI/DR. New/Rework tool order audit. Analyze to detect problems, suggests action to rework. Decision and problem solution with high risk. Design tools based on Gulfstream Tool Design Manual. Support and suggest corrective actions to solve quality internal and external problems. Provide the necessary support to ensure manufacturing process flow in compliance with engineering requirements and quality standards, seeking continuous improvement of manufacturing processes in accordance with the goals and / or objectives of the SBU. Responsible of scheduling and record preventive maintenance for tools and equipment. Seeks and analyze information in Solumina, CAS, Smarteam, Pdoc, Catia V5 for TMO Audit. Give feedback to ME's if there is any discrepancies. Requirements Professional degree: Mechanical Eng., Mechatronic Eng, Aerospace Eng. 7 years of experience in manufacturing processes, considering geometric tolerances and fabrication processes. Knowledge on Fixturing standard hardware. CNC, Faro Arm & Lase tracker Programming. Part Design & Generative Shape Design Platforms in CATIA V5. Experience in drawings interpretation, corrective actions, MS Office. English spoken and written (90% advanced). Available to travel. US Visa.
