Job Description

Job Scope & Purpose Accountable for directing EHS activities for the organization globally; establishing EHS objectives and targets; internal reporting of EHS performance; communication of national, area, and local regulatory requirements, and; act as the organization EHS liaison with the Group and Corporate EHS teams. Maintaining site ISO/OHSA certifications; assuring accurate and complete EHS reporting of metrics; completion of required training for EHS personnel; managing interfaces with the public and governmental authorities with adverse findings and enforcement actions; directing actions during crises; site security, creating a strong EHS culture that engages employees throughout the organization in EHS teams and processes. And Manage the project priorities and project completion to expectations with Maintenance for projects compliant with EHS needs an expectations of the facility. Essential Job Responsibilities Ensure implementation of internal EHS legal requirements. Monitoring of the EHS Management System. Ensures implementation of the EHS management system and drives continuous improvement. Establish tools for risk prevention and analysis. Ensure appropriate EHS-related communication to internal and external stakeholders and authorities. Responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring and optimizing operational processes in the areas of environmental management, health protection and occupational safety. Investigation of workplace incidents Process Risk Analysis Comply with internal Safety Audits Position Requirements • Engineering degrees such as: Chemical Engineer, Chemical Administrator Engineer, Industrial and Systems Engineer, Environmental Safety and Sustainability Engineer • Fluent in English • Master's Degree Preferred Competencies • Planning and Execution • High level of Leadership to promote improvement projects and manage teams • Develop and maintain close relationships with different departments to reach the organization's EHS and strategic objectives. • Focus on results • Goal setting and continuous improvement • Highly organized; ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks/projects. • Ability to prioritize, organize and plan work on one's own initiative. • Establishment of OKRs Indicators Technical knowledge required: Minimum of 7 years of experience in the following: • Full knowledge of the operation of a Security management system. • Knowledge of SafeStart as a behavioral tool to reduce accidents. • Knowledge of methodologies and or tool for unsafe acts. • Complete interest in detailed knowledge of risk management tools and systems. • Management of indicators and compliance actions. • Knowledge of LOTO Tool. • OHSAS 18001.-ISO 45001.-ISO 14001.-ISO 9001. • Desirable specialized technical knowledge of the Safety Management System • Mechanical Integrity and Quality Assurance (IMAC) • Operation Procedures and Safe Practices (POPS) • Process Risk Analysis (PRA)-Emergency Response Plan (PRE) • Incident Investigation and Analysis (IAI) • Change Management (MOC) • Structured Organization (SO) and Accountability
