Job Summary The core responsibilities of a Jr. Systems Administrator include responding to service requests and providing first-level troubleshooting and problem resolution. This is a dynamic position that involves work in Azure cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with a team of experienced Systems Administrators and be fully embedded within the larger IT team. Essential Functions & Responsibilities This role will take on a broader support role for the growing IT infrastructure and services. Office 365 password changes Patch management Backup management Workstation and AVD support Deployments to our customer environment Monitoring and maintaining network infrastructure Assisting with the setup and configuration of new hardware and software Documenting technical procedures and solutions Participating in IT projects and initiatives Conducting regular system audits and updates Ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures Education, Qualifications, and Experience Bachelor’s, Associates, or Technical Degree in a related field preferred. Experience: 3 years of experience. Relevant work experience and/or technical certifications will be considered. Advanced professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and on-call (occasionally). Work schedule: Afternoon shift from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch break. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience in documentation. Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, adapt to change, and work independently. Language: Experience in the following: Microsoft Windows & Server administration Enterprise network architecture (LAN/WAN, VPN, VLANs, firewalls, etc.) Cloud-based identity management (Azure AD/Entra ID) Office 365 Administration & Network Security Active Directory/Group Policy Azure AD/Entra ID Microsoft SQL & SFTP concepts Skills Customer service and interpersonal communication skills Self-taught and motivated.
