Regulatory Affairs Specialist / Hazard Communication Specialist

Responsibilities: Hazard and Transport Classification : Classify products using data from industry associations, vendors, regulatory mandates, and the IFF Toxicology team. Complete classifications daily based on priority. SDS and GHS Label Authoring : Create and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Globally Harmonized System (GHS) labels. Poison Control Notification (PCN) : Manage PCN as required for products marketed in the EU or Korea. Customer Support : Provide exceptional support for inquiries and specific document requests, typically originating from the shared mailbox, on a daily basis. Additional HazCom Duties : Perform other HazCom-related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Experience : 3-5 years in a relevant field. Education : BSc in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology (with a focus on Organic Chemistry). Language Skills : Advanced level of English. Desirable Qualifications: Education : Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry. Experience : 5 years in regulatory affairs. Technical Knowledge : Familiarity with SAP, the WERCS, Global Dangerous Goods regulations, and the Globally Harmonized System for Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS).
