Linux Administrator

Overview: As a Linux L3 Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining, configuring, and ensuring the reliable operation of Linux servers. You will play a crucial role in managing various filesystem types and supporting Debian and RHEL systems. Responsibilities: Provide 24x7 support for the Linux server environment. Perform regular system maintenance, including patching, upgrades, and backups. Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues. Collaborate with the IT team to optimize system performance. Document system configurations, processes, and procedures. Develop and implement IT policies and best practices. Automate routine tasks with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python). Understand network fundamentals and security best practices. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. 6-7 years of experience as Linux Admin, Linux Engineer. In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g., CentOS, Debian, Red Hat) and server hardware. Experience with Linux systems administration, including various filesystem types such as ext4, xfs, zfs. Knowledge of Solaris and AIX operating systems is a plus. Relevant certifications (e.g., RHCE, LFCS) are highly desirable.
