Job Description
Workday Payroll Support Specialist We are looking for a skilled HRIS Analyst with hands-on experience in Workday HCM and Payroll, and a strong understanding of labor reporting and integrations with ADP. This role is responsible for supporting payroll-related data processes, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and providing actionable labor analytics across the organization in Mexico. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and support Workday HCM and Payroll configurations for the Mexico region. Collaborate with Payroll and HR teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing via ADP. Develop, manage, and distribute labor cost and headcount reports, using Workday and ADP data. Troubleshoot payroll and labor data issues by auditing data flows between Workday and ADP systems. Build and maintain custom Workday reports (RaaS, Advanced, Matrix) to support labor analytics. Ensure compliance with Mexican payroll and labor regulations, including statutory reporting. Partner with Finance and HR leadership to analyze workforce trends, labor cost drivers, and compliance metrics. Participate in payroll calendar planning, audits, year-end activities, and continuous improvement initiatives. Assist in Workday testing, upgrades, and new feature rollouts related to HCM and Payroll. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, IT, Business Administration, Finance, or related field. 2 years of experience working with Workday HCM and Payroll, preferably for the Mexico region. Experience working with or integrating to ADP (GlobalView, ADP Streamline, or equivalent). Strong reporting and analytical skills – proficiency with Workday reporting and Excel (pivot tables, lookups). Solid knowledge of Mexican payroll practices, tax requirements, and labor cost structures. Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal). Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills. Ability to work with confidential payroll and HR data with discretion. Familiarity with labor cost accounting or cost center reporting. Experience supporting a manufacturing or hourly workforce. Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools. Background and Experience : Extensive experience in tress systems and legacy payroll, as well as working with payroll vendor ADP. Bilingual (English and Spanish). Preferred Qualifications: Workday certifications in HCM or Payroll.
