Accounting Supervisor

Job Summary The Operational Supervisor - EBS will be responsible for overseeing the center's daily operations, with a strong focus on financial closing and payments. This role requires managing a team, efficiently distributing workloads, and clearly reporting operational incidents in English. The ideal candidate has experience in team management, financial accounting knowledge, and an intermediate level of English to communicate incidents and reports effectively. Key Responsibilities: Supervise daily operations, ensuring that processes are executed according to established procedures and deadlines. Distribute and organize workloads within the team, ensuring that each member completes their tasks efficiently and on time. Monitor compliance with policies, procedures, and operational controls related to financial closing, ensuring accuracy in accounting and payment processing. Supervise and coordinate the team, motivating, training, and ensuring skill and knowledge development among team members. Assist in preparing incident reports and operational reports in English for senior management and international teams, detailing any operational or process issues affecting center performance. Monitor team performance and provide continuous feedback, implementing corrective actions when necessary. Ensure proper implementation of internal controls to prevent accounting errors or non-compliance with financial and tax regulations. Identify process improvement opportunities, proposing solutions to optimize efficiency and reduce operational costs. Manage relationships with vendors and clients, ensuring that all payments and collections are made on time and in accordance with contractual agreements. Conduct periodic account reviews and reconciliations, ensuring accurate figures supported by proper documentation. Ensure all operational incidents are reported in English on time, providing details on the nature of the incident, its impact, and corrective actions taken. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the financial-accounting sector, preferably with a focus on the accounting cycle and compliance. Advanced English proficiency (B1). Experience in internal control and/or payments. Specific Knowledge: Strong knowledge of financial accounting, particularly in financial management and payments. Understanding of accounting regulations (IFRS, US GAAP, among others). Experience supervising teams, distributing tasks, and ensuring goals and deadlines are met. Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in accounting tools. Intermediate-advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data analysis). Ability to generate operational and incident reports in English (intermediate level).
