Further information can be found at ICU Medical’s website: http://www.icumed.com/ ICU Medical is looking for a the Operations Project Manager has overall accountability in ensuring assigned projects are on track following approved business plans. Will be required to influence and negotiate process adjustments and improvements supporting business objectives, as well as lead major projects and complete assignments through business partnering. Will be accountable to present issues, recommendations and updates in regards to specific projects. Must be able to identify linkages between ongoing parallel Operations projects to ensure inconsistencies within similar products are appropriately addressed. Will mentor more junior level PM's in non-US locations in order to successfully execute business strategies overall within the global team. Responsibilities Facilitate a team of interdisciplinary Operations functions in the execution of assigned projects which includes managing team dynamics, schedules, conflict resolution, communication, motivation and training in order to achieve successful results. Additionally, will lead teams by helping define clear, realistic goals, clear barriers to team progress and facilitate rapid decision-making. Includes interfacing with multiple levels of people within the organization, including corporate management and plant personnel. Collects, analyzes, integrates, and maintains cross-functional deliverables. Understands critical path activities and anticipates steps that may be bottlenecks. Responsible for maintaining accurate project budgets, timelines and provide the information during the financial planning cycles as required. Identifies deviations from approved project plans and timelines and keeps plant/corporate management informed as to their nature and extent. Develops and executes communication plans to ensure effective and timely communication with plant and corporate management and external partners. Manage and delegate resources in alignment with approved business project plan. Raise project resources issues to plant/corporate management. Regularly interacts with senior level leaders and plant/corporate executives involving skills such as negotiating and influencing leaders regarding matters of significance to the organization. Work on special projects as they arise. Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications Advanced knowledge as it relates to infusion pump technology Proven track record of successful project management initiatives Solid understanding of design controls in a medical device environment and new product introduction procedures Expertise with lean manufacturing practices is desirable. Familiarity with injection molding process Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required PPM Certification (Professional Project Manager) is a plus Write minimum of 8 - 10 years of experience required
