Quality Engineer

As Quality Engineer will be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and improving the processes required for the integrated management system, planning, developing, coordinating the adequate mechanisms under the requirements of the standards ISO 9001 & ISO 14001, as well as assuring the quality of incoming materials through suppliers’ evaluation and monitoring. Main Activities: Responsible for environmental protection, acting safely, and assuring product quality. Monitors and implements necessary actions for compliance with business indicators and customer satisfaction. It complies with the guidelines set in the quality & environmental management systems, as well as it also defines the necessary controls. Establishes, implements and maintains the required processes for the integrated management system, verifying that the existing documentation is implemented consistently by staff. Verify the compliance with the standards of the integrated management system, promoting and developing awareness of the staff so that they will contribute to the follow-up and the efficiency of the system through the continuous improvement and the improvement of the processes It reports on the performance of the system of Integral management and any need for improvement. Manages and controls documentation. Defines and directs the internal and external audit annual plan that supports the needs of the business Leads, supervises and provides regular updates on the progress of the internal audits according to the timetable set as indicators of the integrated management system Develops and implements training program for internal auditors, upgraded to latest standards requirements. Generates metric of compliance actions on findings from internal audits. Review corrective actions generated from audits and facilitates the filling of the 8Ds for the response to actions in accordance with the current procedure. Evaluate suppliers, through visits, audits and follow-up the non-conformities. Qualification required: Chemical, Industrial or similar Engineering. Minimum experience 3 years performing position as Quality & or Environmental, Health & Safety Systems Engineer. ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 lead auditor Advanced written and spoken English.
