Business Systems Manager

Business Systems Manager - Mexicali, Mexico (Western Region) We are seeking an experienced and skilled Business Systems Manager to join our team in Mexicali, Mexico, overseeing operations across the Western Region, including California. This leadership role requires a hands-on approach, extensive knowledge of SQL and related technologies, and the ability to travel across the U.S.-Mexico border. Responsibilities: Manage and optimize the organization's business systems, particularly those leveraging SQL databases, across the Western Region Lead the design, development, and implementation of new business systems and improvements to existing systems Oversee the integration of SQL-based applications with other business systems Collaborate with various departments to identify and implement cost-effective technological solutions Ensure the security, stability, and compliance of all business systems Participate in the formulation and development of the company's IT strategy Plan and oversee system upgrades and enhancements Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors Travel across the U.S.-Mexico border to support regional operations and collaborate with teams in California Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field Minimum of 10 years of experience in business systems management or related roles Extensive knowledge of SQL and database management systems Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2019/2022 including T-SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning and system integration Strong understanding of system integration and data management Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Proven leadership experience in managing IT teams and projects Fluency in both English and Spanish (bilingual proficiency required) Ability to travel across the U.S.-Mexico border regularly Valid passport and eligibility to work and travel between Mexico and the U.S. Experience in process improvement and automation Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams Key Skills: SQL and database management expertise System integration and customization Project management Team leadership Business process analysis and optimization Data warehouse management Vendor management IT security and compliance Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) Cross-border collaboration and travel The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong leadership skills, driving our organization's technological advancement across the Western Region while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
