Snowflake Data Engineer

Softtek Open Positions: Data Engineer - Snowflake Sr Requirements: 5 years of experience in data engineering or a related role. Strong experience with ETL processes and tools. Hands-on experience with Snowflake. Advanced programming skills in Python and PySpark. Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and big data technologies. Experience implementing and optimizing data solutions using Snowflake. Strong knowledge of data quality, integrity, and security best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Data Lake. Implement and manage data models and transformations using DBT to ensure data quality and consistency. Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. Utilize Snowflake to build and manage scalable data warehouses, ensuring high performance and reliability, Build Python scripts for data transformation, automation and integration tasks Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights. Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline and workflows to ensure data integrity and availability. Required Language: English – Advanced (80-95%). Job Location(s): Mexico, Colombia – Remote
