Location: Tijuana, Mexico We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in sheet metal fabrication to oversee and manage projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of metal fabrication processes, materials and industry standards, along with excellent leadership and project management skills. Key Responsibilities: • Project planning & execution: Develop project timelines, budgets and resource allocation plans for sheet metal projects. • Support establishing a new sheet metal manufacturing site to build enclosures and tanks. • Support recruiting of resources for plant start-up. • Client Coordination: Communicate with clients to understand project requirements, provide updates and ensure satisfaction. • Team Management: Lead a team of engineers and installers to ensure timely and quality project completion. • Quality Assurance: Ensure all products meet industry standards, specifications and customer expectations. • Vendor & Supplier Coordination: Work with material suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and outsourced services. • Process Improvement: Identify areas for efficiency improvement in manufacturing and installation processes. • Safety & Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to health, safety and environmental regulations. Qualifications & Requirements: • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business or a related field (preferred). Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in project management within the sheet metal industry. • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes, CNC machining, welding and assembly. • Project Management Skills: Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools such as MS Project, AutoCAD, SolidWorks or ERP systems. • Communication & Leadership: Strong ability to lead teams, negotiate with stakeholders and resolve conflicts. • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues in production, supply chain or installation processes. Preferred Skills: • Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies. • Knowledge of HVAC, aerospace, automotive or architectural sheet metal applications. • Certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent) is a plus.
