Project Manager - Senior Role

Role: Project Manager In the role of Project Manager, you will drive the successful execution of projects from initiation to completion. You will be responsible for planning, executing and finalizing projects while ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills and ability to coordinate with cross functional teams. Also act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, challenges, solutions. Your technical proficiency across different stages of the software development life cycle including requirements elicitation, application architecture definition and design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. In this role, these are the main actions we expect from you: Defining and managing the product vision and strategy, based on customer and stakeholder needs and market research. Should act as the primary advocate for the customer, ensuring that their needs and expectations are represented in the product backlog and development process. Knowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e. Scrum, Kanban), or understanding of software development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices Proficient at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques Creating and prioritizing a product backlog (a list of features and requirements) that aligns with the product vision and goals, and continuously refining it based on feedback and changing business needs. Interact with hardware & software teams to make continual improvements to designs. Strong negotiating, consulting, and communication skills This position is in one of the following three cities in Mexico: Mexico City, Monterrey and Guadalajara. Qualifications Basic: Advanced/Professional English IT Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required. Requires a technical expertise offering 10 years of experience leading and delivering products, technical programs, including large-scale global programs. Preferred: Experience in Wide-scale deployment across production networks PMP Certification or Scrum Master Certification would be an advantage Good Understanding of Networking Domain Knowledge of Azure or AWS Cloud infrastructure
