Inviting applications for the role of Sr. Principal Consultant, Product Owner We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic individual to join our organization as Senior Principal Consultant. In this role, you will help Genpact accelerate its growth in delivering software product development services to its clients in education technology business. You will play a key role of Product Owner with deeper involvement in product development, maintenance and sustenance In this role, we are seeking a highly experienced Software Product Owner role with a minimum of 14 years of experience in Product engineering organization to join our growing team of product engineering services. Responsibilities · Strategic Product Leadership: Lead the product development team in creating cutting-edge educational technology solutions/products that meet market/user needs and drive educational outcomes. · Product Vision: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy, aligning with the company's goals and educational standards. · Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product engineering & management to ensure seamless product development, deployment and releases. · Project Management: Oversee the product development lifecycle from requirements to releases, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards. · Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders at client side as internal, including engineering, product managers, customer success leaders to gather feedback and ensure product relevance. · Agile Expertise: Proven experience with Agile/SAFe Agile methodologies, including leading Agile teams and managing Agile processes. · User Stories: Define user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring they are clearly understood by the development team. · Development Oversight: Oversee all stages of product development, including design, development, and testing, to ensure high-quality delivery. · Product Sustenance and Enhancement: Ensure ongoing product sustenance and enhancement to meet evolving market needs and maintain product relevance. · Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate product progress at each stage of engineering SDLC, adjusting as necessary to meet business goals. · Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation within the team, encouraging creative solutions and continuous improvement. · Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform future development. Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications / Skills · At least 14 years of work experience in software product development roles; Last 5 years of experience in Product Owner roles. · Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management or product ownership, in the EdTech industry. · Education: Bachelor’s degree in education, Technology, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. · Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) · Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of educational technologies and software development & engineering processes. · Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. · Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences. · Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities effectively. · Passion for Education Domain: A deep commitment to improving education through technology and a passion for lifelong learning.
