Quality Engineer

We bring water to life We have an opportunity for a Quality Engineer to join our Reynosa team, in this role, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of quality assurance processes. As part of the implementation and maintenance process, the candidate should leverage data analysis to gain insights into quality performance and drive process improvements. Duties and Responsibilities: Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following: Drive continuous improvement through irreversible corrective actions for field issues, process capability, and incoming inspection analysis. Analyze and initiate continuous improvement initiatives using quality metrics (e.g., warranty claims, PPM). Develop and approve PPAPs. Implement and maintain calibration and measurement system analysis processes. Ensure adherence to and improvement of the Quality Management System through effective document control. Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with certification requirements. Skills and Experience Requirements: Bachelor of science degree. 5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment. Preferred experience with quality tools such as PPAP, MSA, calibration, Control Plans, PFMEA, and detailed manufacturing work instructions. Required experience in applying problem-solving tools such as 8D, 5 Whys, and fishbone diagrams. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab). Proactive, results-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks. Strong organizational skills. Fluent in English (spoken and written).
