CONTROLLER

This position will be responsible for plant accounting and control and will oversee the shared financial services team (accounts payable and accounts receivable functions), located in India. Responsibilitie sServe as the Plant Manager's strategic position, providing strong financial leadership for the unit .Drive actual results to meet or exceed the financial plan. Continuously monitor variances, identify risks and opportunities, and initiate corrective actions .Provide timely and relevant management reports and actionable analysis to area managers to support fact-based decisions .Recruit, develop, and motivate a strong finance and accounting organization that fosters an environment of continuous improvement .Coordinate the annual planning and budgeting process to ensure the development of realistic, business-focused plans supported by action plans to ensure the successful achievement of results .Ensure that accounting records and monthly financial statements are complete, accurate, and prepared in accordance with the company's financial policies and procedures .Coordinate and prepare forecasts that include in-depth analysis and identify corrective actions .Ensure that internal controls and procedures are effective (without significant deficiencies) .Develop accurate standard costs annually, ensuring a thorough understanding of variable, semi-variable, and fixed costs that can be used for variance analysis and decision-making purposes (COPA) .Proactively manage cash flow (accounts receivable and accounts payable) . Qualificatio ns Bachelor's degree in Accounting or 5 - 7 years of related experie nceFluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, et c.)GAAP knowledge, CPA prefer redFocused, well-organized, and process-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneous ly.
