SAP FICO Consultant

Act as the subject matter expert in SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO), leading the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of financial processes within SAP. Collaborate with finance, controlling, and cross-functional business units to deliver reliable, compliant, and scalable solutions aligned with business goals. Key Responsibilities: • Lead SAP FICO solution design and configuration • Translate complex business requirements into SAP solutions, ensuring process efficiency and compliance with local/global regulations. • Provide hands-on configuration and support for financial closing, tax reporting, asset accounting, and controlling processes. • Guide integration of FICO with other modules (MM, SD, PP, PS) and third-party systems. • Support month-end and year-end close processes, and ensure data integrity and consistency. • Drive continuous improvement by identifying process automation and optimization opportunities using SAP best practices. • Act as the key contact for external/internal audits, ensuring system compliance. • Lead or participate in S/4HANA migrations, upgrades, and rollout projects. • Mentor junior consultants and support knowledge transfer across finance teams. Requirements: Advanced English • 6 years of experience in SAP FICO. • Solid understanding of financial reporting, IFRS/local GAAP, tax requirements, and controlling structures. • Strong integration knowledge with other SAP modules and external financial tools. • Familiarity with Fiori apps, SAP BTP extensions, and financial workflows is a plus.
