Job Description

As Quality Manager you will engage with business leaders across a region within Victory Packaging – Mexico Locations, for supporting implementations of quality management systems changes and documentation, you will be expected to drive your expertise, technical knowledge and critical mindset in shaping unified and standard processes for our quality system and ISO Certification. This position focuses on the detection and resolution of problems related to quality processes while leading corrective action and continuous improvement activities, and the delivery of satisfactory outcomes. How will you impact: Conduct quality system audits on a regular basis; recommend quality system improvements that enhance strategic goals of business. Conduct research, collect data, and perform analysis on processes using various statistical methods resulting in continual improvement. Facilitate responses and resolve customer complaints in the form of corrective actions between customers and branches. Stay current on quality standards (including but not limited to ISO 9001:2008, GFSI, TS16949, AS9100) and communicate appropriate changes to branch teams. Facilitate best practices between individual branches including developing and implementing improvements. Assist in developing and maintaining centralized quality management system for Victory Packaging. What you need to succeed: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant career is required. Minimum of 5 years prior experience with principles and practices of quality management systems and standards. (Six Sigma, ISO 9001:2008, TS16949, AS9100 GSFI knowledge a plus) with experience coordinating/managing quality systems for multiple sites preferred. Bilingual (Spanish- English) with exceptional communication skills (written and oral) is required. Currently located in Queretaro city (required). Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail, also ability to work independently, with a high sense of urgency, and remain self-motivated with minimal direct supervision. Expect up to 50% monthly travel. Advanced computer skills to support data analysis including MS Office and statistical software.
