Job Description: We are urgently seeking a technically capable Buyer/Purchasing Specialist based in Apodaca, Mexico. The ideal candidate will complement site assessment of requirements and validate vendor/quote suitability, alongside the traditional duties of a buyer. Key Responsibilities: Conduct site assessments to determine procurement needs. Validate vendor suitability and quotes. Manage purchasing activities and ensure timely delivery of materials. Collaborate with engineering teams to understand technical requirements. Maintain accurate records of purchases and vendor interactions. Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, etc.). Previous experience in a procurement role, preferably in a company dealing with advanced engineered systems. Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn engineering concepts. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Ability to work independently and remotely. Proficiency in Spanish and English. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in an engineering role earlier in career. Familiarity with procurement software and tools.
