Job Description

The Maintenance Superivsor is responsible and lead technical maintenance team supervising their activities and maintain operative equipment related to operations and systems facilities all over the plant reporting to Maintenance Manager. Comply position KPIs related to, also lead and promote team growing up activities as training and empowerment being empathic and respectfully. Role & Responsibility Personnel Management With always “Safety First” statement in mind, assure all team members/associates comply with PPE and Safety Standards, as well comply with of 5S´s methodology and practices. Approve overtime as needed according to rules and policies. Responsible to follow up and report performance indicators of equipment as MTBF, MTTR, MTTF Responsible to comply with Preventive and Predictive maintenance equipment schedules. Responsible to maintain proper stock of critical equipment spare parts according OEM suggestions. As a service department, attend always the requests form other areas with sense of urgency and a diligent way. Maintain a good working knowledge of company policies and regulations to administrate discipline of team members, in accordance with progressive discipline procedures. To know Plant Key Performance Indicators performance as Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Morale taking actions to always maintain them within objective values. Department Administration Follow up team members attendance and discipline towards to job performance. Review periodically compliance with equipment and systems scheduled maintenance routines. Review periodically status of consumable materials and equipment spare part requisitions and purchase orders. Administrate spending behavior (within budget) related to maintenance department. Responsible for maintaining good housekeeping, performing daily and weekly safety audits, also monthly safety meetings, to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. Review in a daily basis the team leaders shift log to take actions on any abnormality reported. Use Problem Solving Technics to improve KPIs performance in accordance to Continuous Improving Philosophy. Attend periodic scheduled department meetings called by Maintenance Manger and provide information requested. Labor Relations Interpret the “Contrato Colectivo de trabajo” agreement and attempt to resolve employee issues and/or grievances. Be ahead on potential team members labor issues to avoid conflicts. KPIs: Resolution of grievances/issues. Always promote the good team and organization relationship following up rules and policies. Continuous Improvement Efforts Provide ideas and make recommendations for continuous improvement, utilizing the QCI program to reduce energy (gas and electricity) and water consumption, also production costs. Provide ideas and make recommendations to improve productivity by equipment availability performance. Maintain a collaborative working environment with all other PCL’s and departments. KPIs: Cost reductions. Customer satisfaction. Job Requirement Electromechanical Engineer, or Robotics Degree. Engineer Degree Certificate and “Cedula” are required. 3 years' experience on operations maintenance department (Production and Facilities). Languages: Professional Spanish and English Fluent Less than 10% travel. Leadership capability. Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point Basic skills. Ability to follow written instructions. Very good communication skills Ability to manage groups of people (10 team members) Global Breadth: North America Must be Flexible to work any shift. Must be able to work overtime as needed.
