ABOUT US For a recently created Business Services Center and transformation project for a global company, we are looking for a General Ledger Analyst. In this role, you will have the opportunity to join the GL department, helping in shape the future of the accounting processes. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a recently created Global Business Service Centre based in Monterrey supporting the America's region. ABOUT THE ROLE The RTR Analyst is a key role for the organization and will perform accounting and administrative functions in the preparation, processing, and maintenance of accounting and financial records. Main responsibilities: Process and post journal entries and cost invoices and credit notes within the agreed timeframe, maintaining high service quality and efficiency. Reconcile Balance sheet accounts. Resolution of aged balances. Handle incoming queries from business, auditors. Collect, analyse and interpret data to produce reports, both monthly and ad-hoc ones Month end closing activities. Ensure proper intercompany balancing, including reconciliations with counter parts. Ensure service levels and quality standards of provided services (KPI, SLA). Build effective relationships with business partners and stakeholders within the local entities. Participate in emerging projects - e.g. process transitions, continuous improvements, procedures standardization, etc. Other duties as assigned (possibly supporting other areas like: Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable). QUALIFICATIONS /EXPERIENCE Candidate with minimum 4 years’ experience in GL environment, preferably in a multinational company. Strong knowledge and understanding of the month-end, reporting and year-end processes and regulations in the US and Canada markets. Ability to apply effective techniques and strategies to ensure timely month-end closing of the books and reporting to Corporate. Experience with Shared Service Centers (SSC) Proactive profile well organized, fast learning, positive, excellent verbal and written communication skills. Team player within the department and with other departments in the organization SAP and Excel knowledge.
