Finance Manager

Heraeus Electro-Nite (HEN) Mexico is looking for a proactive and strategic Finance Manager who will be responsible for ensuring financial stability, reporting integrity and fostering a culture of excellence within the team. This leader will effectively manage the finance function, ensuring reporting accuracy and financial credibility, while working closely with management and cross-functional teams to provide strategic financial guidance to drive organisational growth and sustainability. Key responsibilities: Strategic Financial Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company objectives. Financial Reporting and Analysis: Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial reports and analysis. Tax Reporting: Prepare and file taxes and reports in collaboration with tax advisors. Budgeting and Forecasting: Manage annual budget and monthly forecasts, working with cost center managers. Business Partner: Provide financial analysis and guidance to management, supporting decision making. Collaboration with Corporate Finance: Align financial processes and communicate specific financial requirements. Cross Functional Collaboration: Work with Operations, Procurement, Sales and HR teams to drive business performance. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure regulatory compliance and participate in financial planning and risk management. Stakeholder Management: Maintain relationships with banks, auditors and tax authorities. Internal Controls: Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure asset and financial accuracy. Team Development: Mentor and train the finance team on processes and procedures. Industry Knowledge: Keep up to date on financial management trends and best practices. Ad Hoc Projects: Support financial initiatives as needed. Profile: Have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the position or similar. Experience in: Commercial, labor and tax law, as well as in financial management functions; Finance, Costs, Budgeting, Payroll, Taxes, Treasury, SAP system. Proficiency in financial computer applications: Microsoft (Excel, Outlook, Power point) and ERP systems, preferably SAP. Knowledge of financial and tax regulations. In-depth knowledge of IFRS financial reporting principles, regulations and standards and Mexican reporting standards. Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights. Advanced level of English.
