Sr. Data Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with expertise in ETL development, cloud data architecture, and large-scale data processing. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with cloud platforms, real-time data streaming, and data warehousing. This role requires a deep understanding of data modeling, analytics, and business intelligence to support scalable, high-performance data solutions. Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines to process large-scale datasets. Develop and maintain data solutions in Google Cloud Platform (preferred), AWS, Azure, or Snowflake. Work with scripting languages such as Python, Java, or equivalent to automate data workflows. Architect and implement Data Warehouse solutions, including OLAP technologies and star/snowflake schemas. Develop and manage real-time data streaming solutions using Kafka, Kinesis, Apache Storm, or Beam. Leverage big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Cassandra, or MongoDB to build scalable data processing systems. Integrate data solutions with BI tools such as Looker, Power BI, or similar to enable self-service analytics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions. Mentor and lead technical teams, providing guidance on best practices in data engineering. Qualifications 8 years of ETL & Data Architecture experience, working with large data sets (5TB preferred). 4 years of experience leading or mentoring technical teams. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, or a related field. Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills to support data-driven decision-making. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally. E-commerce experience is a plus.
