Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

In this role, you will work among engineering teams to develop cutting-edge software solutions. We are seeking a Mid QA Automation Engineer to work with various clients at our delivery center in Mexico. Our mission at Apex Systems is providing Insights that Inspire. As a Mid QA Automation Enginee r you will help achieve that mission by giving our clients consultative guidance and technical expertise. Responsibilities: Prepare detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide meaningful feedback. Plan and coordinate testing activities, identifying and documenting bugs thoroughly. Build and execute automation scripts using open-source tools. Organize testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs. Collaborate with internal teams (developers, product managers, and business analysts) to identify system requirements. Review debugging results to ensure quality standards. Track quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts. Analyze non-conforming software causes and train users to implement solutions. Stay updated on new testing tools and strategies. Create and maintain regression test scripts covering all functional aspects of custom software. Investigate reported quality issues and document evidence for effective resolutions. Collect quality data and present metrics on product quality. Use various software tools to investigate possible defects. Required Qualifications : Education: A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Experience: At least 5 years in software testing, with proven expertise in automation and manual testing. Proficiency in facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and promoting transparency. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent knowledge. Proven experience with Selenium (5 years). Demonstrated ability to create detailed testing scripts. 3 years of experience with Agile Scrum Software Development Lifecycle activities and practices.
