Java Production Support

Key Responsibilities Provide application and production support for critical Java-based systems. Debug and resolve code-level issues across Java applications. Analyze SQL queries and database issues, optimize performance. Work on incident resolution , root cause analysis, and issue prevention. Collaborate with development teams to identify fixes and improvements. Monitor applications in Unix/Linux environments, perform script-level investigations. Participate in knowledge transfer and documentation of known issues/resolutions. Required Skills Strong Java programming and debugging skills. Solid experience with SQL (queries, joins, performance tuning). Good knowledge of Linux/Unix command line tools and scripting. Ability to understand and troubleshoot complex codebases. Experience with tools like Git, CoderPad, and issue tracking systems. Nice to Have Prior experience in the banking or financial sector . Exposure to production environments with incident handling. Knowledge of shell scripting or Python for automation. Interview Process Coding Test (HackerRank / CoderPad) – Focused on Java, SQL, Unix Technical Round with client Engineer – 30-minute deep dive into technical skills and debugging Customer Interviews (1–2 rounds) – Final technical and behavioral discussions
