Job Description
Angular Support Analyst Job Summary: The Angular UI Support Analyst is responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for Angular-based UI applications . The role involves debugging UI issues, resolving performance bottlenecks, and assisting development teams in ensuring a seamless user experience. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and RESTful API integrations , along with strong problem-solving skills in a production support environment . Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. 1-2 years of experience in supporting Angular-based applications. Strong expertise in Angular (v8), TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 . Experience in debugging Angular UI issues using browser developer tools (Chrome DevTools, Lighthouse, etc.) . Knowledge of RESTful API integration, HTTP error handling, and CORS policies . Experience with UI state management (NgRx, Redux, or RxJS) . Familiarity with CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind, Material UI) and SASS/LESS . Experience working with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines . Understanding of agile methodologies, ticketing systems (JIRA, ServiceNow), and ITIL processes . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication abilities. Advanced English Key Responsibilities: UI Application Support & Troubleshooting: Provide L2/L3 support for Angular-based front-end applications , ensuring minimal downtime. Diagnose and resolve UI rendering issues, JavaScript errors, and CSS inconsistencies . Debug and resolve performance-related issues using browser developer tools. Work with backend teams to troubleshoot API response issues affecting UI behavior. Identify, log, and track bugs, defects, and enhancements in issue-tracking tools (JIRA, ServiceNow). Performance Optimization & UI Enhancements: Analyze and optimize Angular components, lazy loading, and change detection strategies . Enhance UI responsiveness and accessibility (WCAG compliance, ARIA roles, etc.) . Implement fixes for cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness issues. Monitor and optimize page load times, memory leaks, and rendering performance . Incident & Problem Management: Investigate and resolve critical production incidents related to UI applications. Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring UI issues and propose long-term solutions. Work closely with QA teams to ensure bug fixes do not introduce regressions . Escalate major issues to development teams and coordinate hotfix deployments. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Work with backend, API, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless application functionality. Collaborate with business users to understand UI usability concerns and feature requests . Liaise with third-party vendors and SaaS providers for UI-related integrations and dependencies. Provide technical guidance to non-technical users on basic troubleshooting steps. Automation & Process Improvement: Contribute to UI testing automation (Selenium, Cypress, Jest, Jasmine) to improve support efficiency. Develop custom scripts or monitoring solutions for proactive UI issue detection. Implement error logging mechanisms (Sentry, LogRocket, or ELK stack) for tracking UI failures. Maintain and improve knowledge base documentation, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides .
