Job purpose The purpose of design engineering position is to create, develop, and execute changes in various products assigned. Be able to find and apply innovative and efficient solutions that meet the needs and specifications of clients. This role involves the application of engineering principles and methodologies to design and optimize systems, components, and products, ensuring they function effectively and efficiently. As well as the usage of CAD software to create the 3d and 2d models to represent the products. Key Responsibilities Create and update 3D CAD products and drawings using Siemens NX (CATIA a plus). Design and develop new designs, improvements and modifications to existing designs based on customer requirements. Work with Mechanical & Electrical Engineers to develop design concepts. Create detailed drawings from 3D models Create component specifications as required Respond to daily requests for drawings/diagrams, documents, presentations, and reports Work collaboratively with multiple cross-functional teams. Generate FOA of plastic components. Generate tolerance stack ups for assemblies. GD&T knowledge and application What we’re looking for Mid-level knowledge of Siemens NX (and CATIA) Knowledge of 3D solid modeling and 2d drafting Moldflow Advisors and/or ANSYS analysis softwares knowledge. Experience designing parts for plastic injection molding or any other manufacturing process GD&T understanding and application Tolerance stack-ups creation and understanding. Problem-solving skills Team player, quick learner, selfmotivated, serviceable Microsoft Office knowledge (Powerpoint, Excel, Word etc.).
