Sales Representative & Truss Designer Trainee

Location: Bloemfontein Employment Type: Full-time Bloem Truss & Builders Market is looking for a dynamic individual who will work in sales while also being trained in roof truss design . This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about construction, has strong people skills, and is eager to develop expertise in truss design. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain relationships with developers, builders, and contractors. Proactively identify new business opportunities and expand the client base. Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective client engagement. Provide expert advice on timber trusses, roofing materials, and other building products. Conduct site visits to assess client needs and provide accurate quotations. Work closely with the design team to learn and assist with timber truss design . Undergo training to use truss design software and optimize roof structures. Assist in preparing cutting lists, job cards, and technical drawings for manufacturing. Ensure compliance with structural and regulatory requirements in truss design. Requirements: Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Construction, or Business-related fields preferred. Strong interest in both sales and technical design . Proficiency in computers; experience with design software is a plus but not required. Strong negotiation and people skills. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to learn. Valid drivers license and willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits. What We Offer: Competitive salary and commission structure.
