Technical Project Engineer Assistant - Automotive - 12 month contract (Based Uitenhage/Kareiga)

About the opportunity / Job responsibilities: Formulating and compiling detailed product specifications. Keeping project on budget. Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the engineering projects. Problem Identification and resolution. Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support. Manage project issues, risks and actions. Manage project changes to achieve project outputs. Project evaluations and assessments of results. Knowledge and skills : In-depth knowledge of production processes, layouts and facilities. Excellent insight in total company Engineering, planning, manufacturing systems and pre-calculated costing practices. Have strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project). Must have good analytical skills with an innovative approach to problem-solving. Must be assertive and have facilitation skills. Must have ability to negotiate and communicate at all levels. Be extremely motivated, flexible and able to perform in stressful environments. Working knowledge of Technical German Language. Must be willing to travel internationally at short notice About you / REquirements and Qualifications : BSc / BTech / BEng in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering. Project Management experience Experience within in the automotive/automation industry Self-motivation, good time management, report writing and presentation ability.
