Network Engineer | CompTIA & MikroTik Certified

Qualification and Experience Relevant degree, diploma, certifications in IT or studying towards CompTIA Certifications (A, N, Security or Equivalent) 5 years IT related work experience Valid drivers license Advantageous: MikroTik Certifications (MTCNA & MTCRE), SonicWall Certifications Key Performance Areas: Design, Deployment, Maintenance, Optimization of: End user Computer Infrastructure, Network Infrastructure, Server Infrastructure, Cybersecurity Setting up and keeping documentation up to date for all of the above Form part of Incident Response efforts Support: Providing support to users and being the escalation point Monitor and manage new and reopened tickets Provide accurate high-level support towards end-users regarding their IT related issues and provide accurate and timely feedback (Level 2 - 3) Follow-up with the end-user to ensure that the issue is resolved Aid fellow team members where necessary Knowledge: VMware Microsoft Active Directory & Entra ID Networking (Routing, Switching, Firewall, SDWAN, VPN) Server hardware systems Storage hardware systems Server operating systems and software applications CCTV VoIP systems
