Job Description
The AI/ML Specialist is responsible for analyzing large sets of structured and unstructured data to identify trends and patterns, create predictive models, and provide actionable recommendations to improve business processes and decisions. This role involves using statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization techniques to interpret complex data patterns. The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills in languages such as Python or R, experience with data manipulation tools like SQL, and a solid understanding of statistical analysis. Additionally, excellent problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams are essential for success in this position. Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with machine learning/data engineers, IT, and business teams to develop opportunities to leverage company data and drive business solutions Identify and validate high-value AI/ML opportunities, rapidly prototype solutions, and ensure implementations deliver measurable business outcomes and tangible ROI Build functional demonstrations using no-code to low-code AI/ML tools including AI/BI Genie and Copilot Studio Create Azure OpenAI services and utilize Azure AI Foundry to build, fine-tune, and deploy machine learning models Integrate Natural Language Processing (NLP) capabilities and AI chatbots to enhance user interaction and automate communication Process, cleanse, and validate the integrity of data to be used for analysis Analyze large amounts of information to find patterns and solutions Develop predictive systems and machine learning algorithms using Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and other Microsoft tools Participate in cross-functional projects and collaborate effectively with business stakeholders to gather and understand business-related needs Apply AI/BI tools to support business intelligence and data-driven decision making Maintain process-related documentation and support system bug troubleshooting Stay updated with the latest technologies, OpenAI advancements, and industry best practices Follow Information Technology policies and industry standards Perform other duties as assigned Skills and Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of in-depth work experience in data science, machine learning, and statistical analysis Two years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and related database services Experience developing and deploying AI solutions using OpenAI, Copilot, and Azure AI Foundry Experience with AI models using structured and unstructured data sources Strong skills in mathematics and statistical analysis concepts like linear regression, probability distributions, and other techniques for creating high-quality machine learning models Highly skilled in relational and dimensional data modeling Completion of a Master’s degree in a data science or related field Nice to Have: Experience with Databricks and NLP tools such as Genie Hands-on experience with AI chatbots, Power Platform, and Copilot Studio Knowledge of data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks Experience with Power BI for data visualization Familiarity with DevOps & Agile methodologies
