Electrical Service Technician Sandton, Johannesburg Market related Salary A renowned producer and supplier of both light and heavy-duty mechanical drive products is seeking an Electrical Service Technician to join their team based in Johannesburg. As a key member reporting directly to the Johannesburg Sales Manager, you''ll play a pivotal role in ensuring their electronic products meet the highest standards while supporting the growth of new automotive applications. What We''re Looking For: In-depth technical knowledge of our products. Proficiency in PLCs, VSDs, and other programming devices for industrial process control. Understanding of torque, speed, and power from both mechanical and electrical perspectives. A solutions-driven mindset and excellent communication skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Key Responsibilities: In-house repairs, including equipment identification, assessment, and quotation preparation. Telephone and on-site commissioning, technical support, and fault finding. Sales support through site visits, application identification, and equipment selection. Management of warranties, returns, and customer relationships. Minimum Requirements: Control Systems/Automation experience required. VSD experience advantageous. National Senior Certificate / Matric. Diploma in electronics and/or electrical engineering preferred. Previous industrial automation experience required. Strong communication and report writing skills.
