Job description As a business developer you set up the project business division in the Belgium and Luxembourg area, within the existing Belgium organization and Benelux management structure. You conduct market research, develop a project sales plan and act on your own by developing this new market. As a people manager you support the retention and growth of the current Wholesales business and Key-Account management. You nurture, develop, and grow the existing business with the current team. As a manager you regularly review project sales and marketing plans by collaborating with the marketing team. You are a member of the BeLux Management team and have a close cooperation with the Dutch colleagues. You are responsible for the BeLux sales results and report to the General Manager Benelux. Profile You work on a Master’s level, through education or obtained by working experience, of a Commercial education, a Business administration and/or technical studies. Proven experience of 5 years in sales management and business development. Strong understanding of sales techniques, market dynamics, and customer relationship management in a project business. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Understanding of technical products and their applications. Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed decisions. Goal-oriented with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Team-player, persistent and self-steering. You speak Dutch and French because you’ll work in the BeLux.
